Job Responsibilities:

• Perform all lifestyle dispensing duties to the highest standard.
• Analyse and resolve quality & customer service problems.
• Perform administrative duties to the highest standard.
• Conduct regular audits of systems, policies, procedures and productivity standards to ensure compliance by your team, and report any identified issues to your manager.
• Recognise and acknowledge staff for their achievements.
• Coach, counsel and performance manage your employees.
• Lead the team with a positive, can-do attitude; give direction and advice; delegate and supervise workflow and assigned tasks.
• Lead by example through consistently demonstrating the company values, to ensure exceptional patient care and satisfaction.

Qualifications:

• Certificate IV in Optical Dispensing ideal, or an experienced Optical Assistant.
• A commitment to providing exceptional customer service and maintaining a positive and friendly demeanour.
• Outstanding interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively and empathetically with patients of all ages and backgrounds.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.
• Enjoys the challenge of working in a fast-paced environment and is able to remain calm under pressure.
• Demonstrates a growth mindset and a willingness to learn and develop new skills.
• Good computer skills including familiarity with Microsoft Word and Excel.
