And, Jamal in his role of CRO, along with Andrew Leigh (CEO) have engaged us here at Justified Talent to bring on their first Business Development Manager, based in Melbourne.

Well, if you have experience in selling solutions to K-12 schools - at Principal, Head of Curriculum, Business Manager and/or Head of Wellbeing level - and people generally describe you as:

  • A quick learner and commercially savvy;
  • Good at juggling multiple priorities at the same time;
  • Very goal driven and energetic;
  • Self-confident but not overbearing;
  • Someone who enjoys meeting with technology users and influencers;
  • A creative and adaptable thinker;
  • Comfortable in taking charge of sales situations when needed;
  • Good under pressure;
  • Resilient;
  • Pro-active and keen to take the initiative;
  • Good at reading both people - and the facts; and
  • Methodologically able to approach the sales process in a well organised way...

The role?


In simple terms you'll be representing the Lifestream solution to schools across the K-12 spectrum, with a view to building subscriptions. In some cases the school will be the buyer. In others you'll be looking to engage schools as champions of the solution to parents, who will then purchase individually. Success will be measured in the number of paid users and % growth of accounts over time.


Bigger picture, you'll be the owner of all things revenue. You'll be responsible for developing the sales ecosystem from lead generation all the way through to customer satisfaction.

Remuneration sees a base of $100K (incl. car allowance) and on-target bonuses of circa $30-$40K uncapped.
