The role of a Sales Specialist is the perfect entry point into a Real Estate sales career. As a Sales Specialist you will taught by a dedicated coach in a range of marketing and sales activities - and in turn, learn 'the ropes'. You'll also be learning from some of the best in the industry through company Directors Nicole Hintz, Pascal Pierre and Shane Colquhoun.

 

Shane is "Immediate Past President" of the LJ Hooker Franchise Owners Council and has also been on the Franchise Owners Council, managing the ‘Marketing Portfolio’ and representing LJ Hooker franchise owners of Southern Queensland since 2010.

 

Shane also has ownership in LJ Hooker Pacific Pines, Helensvale, Hope Island, Coomera and Ormeau with the goal to further build more successful people through systems, training and a “nobody does it better” culture. Between the 6 offices, Shane is proud to boast numerous industry awards from his “real estate family”:

The job

 

Real Estate sales is not easy. It takes grit and determination. It needs patience and persistence. It needs creative thinking and commitment to a process. You'll be a 'Sales Creator'. Which means you'll need to commit to 6 long days a week, for at least 3 years before you're fully-fledged. (Think of it as an Apprenticeship) And another 3 before you can think about buying that supercar! Saturdays are a must and odd hours are part of the game...

 

For the right person though, Real Estate sales is one of the most lucrative professions to be in, affording a lifestyle and choices that are unparalleled.

 

LJ Hooker Hope Island is a very busy place to be. In most cases you'll do most of your learning on the job. You'll need to be good at observing Shane, Pascal and/or Nicole and the team in action, a quick learner and courageous enough to ask questions.
