With the introduction of their team of Business Development Managers in the last year or so, they have now emerged as the go-to supplier for many. Right now, we're looking for a friendly, professional and organised individual to join Liberty Tours, supporting the Business Development Managers, as a Tours and Reservations Specialist.

Who are you?

 

Holding a minimum Cert 3 in Travel, you have travel industry experience in international leisure tours, although it doesn't matter what the segment is ... what matters is that you are passionate about it and will generate exceptional sales results. In addition, people probably describe you as:

  • A quick learner and commercially savvy;
  • Good at juggling multiple priorities at the same time;
  • Very goal-driven and energetic;
  • Self-confident but not overbearing;
  • Someone who enjoys interacting with all manner of people;
  • A creative and adaptable thinker;
  • Comfortable in taking charge of sales situations when needed;
  • Resilient;
  • Pro-active and keen to take the initiative;
  • Good at reading people; and
  • Methodologically able to approach the sales process in a well-organised way

 

The gig

 

As a Tours and Reservations Specialist at Liberty Tours, you'll be at the heart of their operations, driving sales through travel agencies and direct clients. Your role will involve explaining Liberty's exciting travel packages, closing sales, and ensuring bookings are fulfilled seamlessly. You'll work closely with the Business Development Managers to receive and close leads from travel agencies and be the friendly, professional point of contact for all direct client inquiries.

 

You will be responsible for

  • Sales Execution: Engage travel agencies and direct clients with enthusiasm, promoting Liberty's travel packages and closing sales to meet or exceed targets.
  • Lead Management: Collaborate with Business Development Managers to efficiently receive, manage, and close leads generated by travel agencies and other sources.
  • Customer Support: Provide knowledgeable, prompt responses to client inquiries, explaining package details and customising options to match client needs.
  • Booking Coordination: Handle end-to-end booking processes to ensure a smooth, enjoyable experience for clients, managing any necessary changes or confirmations with third-party providers.
  • Client Relationship Building: Cultivate a professional, warm connection with each client, serving as their go-to contact for updates, information, and follow-up support.
  • Sales Administration: Accurately process payments, issue confirmations, and keep thorough records of transactions, client preferences, and booking details.
  • Problem Resolution: Quickly address any travel disruptions or last-minute changes to maintain client satisfaction and uphold the company’s high service standards.
  • Reporting: Track key metrics, such as sales performance and customer feedback, and report back to management regularly.
